Injection Mold Processing Technician
An Injection Molding Process Technicians primary job is to set up, monitor, operate and troubleshoot plastic injection-molding machines. This requires specialized knowledge of materials, specific tools, and equipment. Troubleshooting tasks might include dealing with inconsistent material, faulty equipment, human error, and preventing defects from occurring.
- Ensure injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and processes are set to regulation parameters, meet quality standards and all production goals.
- Set up and start up molding machines, read blueprints, and check products with calipers, and other testing methods and devices.
- Provide feedback on mold design and assist Engineering to dial in each mold for optimal cycle time and quality.
- Operate, Monitor and troubleshoot processing problems, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and document process changes.
- Familiar with all aspects of scientific molding and mythologies of over molding processes.
- Understand the variables of components and raw a material.
- Flexibility in schedule

- Good verbal and written communication.

Machine Operator
Ensure procedures for production operations are properly followed in accordance with Quality Policy Manual. Understanding cGMP, safety, production, processing, and handling of non-conforming material per the Quality Manual.

Manufacturing Maintenance / Machinist
Assist Engineering with maintenance of manufacturing environment, maintenance of manufacturing machines, assist quality and production with potential non-conforming material and corrective and preventative actions, use specialty tools and equipment to fabricate parts for manufacturing equipment.

Manufacturing Tool & Die/Mold Maker
The Tool and Die/Mold Maker will be responsible for utilizing shop tools/equipment and interpreting 2D/3D drawings for the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and engineering changes on company tools that support high-speed automation, injection molds and mold parts. Will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve equipment performance.

- Perform preventative maintenance and assist to improve and create procedures and standardized work methods

- Evaluate precision tooling and injection molding problems to recommend and implement modifications as corrective actions
- Root cause identification and communication
- Maintain areas, workbenches, desk, tool boxes, etc., and keep organized at all times

- Utilize software such as SOLIDWORKS CAD/CAM and Microsoft Office to accomplish tasks and report on Engineering projects
- Coordinate activities to ensure departmental compliance to all Federal, State, Local, and Company regulatory requirements.
- These elements include but are not limited to FDA, EPA, OSHA, ISO, EEOC, and Company policies relative to the manufacturing of product, lot control requirements, documentation requirements, housekeeping, preventative maintenance, calibration, associate training, and safety (equipment, associate, and material).

The candidate should have the following qualifications.
- Ability to repair, modify, and maintain high precision production tooling, injection molds, and robot assembly tools
- Follow and promote area and plant safety procedures
- Must have strong knowledge of plastic molding design and precision tooling
- Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Must have good troubleshooting skills
- At least 2 years of Tool and Die trade school, with a 4-year apprenticeship or equivalent
- Journeyman Tool and Die, Mold Making Certification, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of tool making or tools repair and maintenance experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
